The idea for Riven Design came from our desire to move beyond the traditional limitations of a medium while maintaining the integrity of the message.

Graphic Design

Graphic design is a medium devoted to conveying printed information in a memorable way. If the message is lost in the design, it is no longer graphic design but art. We strive to use the used print design to its' fullest extent, while maintaining the clarity of your message.

Web Design

In the online world, usability is key. The site not only needs to look great, but function perfectly. Our design style incorporates high quality imagery, and clean, functional layouts. In order to use the web page to the fullest extent, we prefer to use fluid width site layouts including graphic/photographic elements that visually fill the available space regardless of the size of the page. We do this with the careful use of repeating and transparent imagery which will expand to fit the space. The lightning bolt below is an example of this effect, it will expand or contract to maintain the appropriates size for the layout.
